Titan Solar Power went under.
Here's what's still protected.

Titan Solar Power shut down abruptly in June 2024. If they installed or serviced your system, here's exactly where you stand.

Titan was one of the largest residential installers in the country when it closed its doors with little warning. Customers were left mid-project or with no service contact at all, and no company behind the workmanship warranty.

What survived, and what didn't

Still alive: your equipment warranties. Your panels and inverters are covered by their manufacturers, Enphase, SolarEdge, Qcells and others, not by Titan Solar Power. Microinverters and optimizers commonly carry 25-year terms. These survive the bankruptcy completely; they just need someone who knows how to diagnose a failure, assemble the paperwork, and file the claim. Also alive: your panels' 25-year performance warranty.

Gone: the workmanship warranty, Titan Solar Power's own promise covering installation quality. That died with the company. It's the gap SolCare's service plans exist to fill.

The two urgent checks

1. Is your monitoring still alive? If your app has gone dark, nobody is watching your system, and long offline stretches can complicate manufacturer warranty eligibility. Restoring monitoring (reconnecting your gateway, or retrofitting a modern one) is step one of everything.

2. Is anything already failing? Manufacturer claim windows can run from when a defect is discovered, sitting on a known problem can jeopardize an otherwise valid claim. If production looks off, the clock may already be running.

What we do for Titan Solar Power customers

Our Orphan Rescue onboarding ($249, waived with any annual plan): full system inspection, monitoring reconnected, a warranty audit of every component with serial numbers, and a production baseline, so your system is watched, documented, and claim-ready again. Then our plans take over: monitoring from $24/mo, hands-on service, and a written production guarantee. Every finding carries our Free-Fix First promise, the no-cost path, pursued first, always.

Company status as of our last update; bankruptcy proceedings and successor arrangements evolve. Manufacturer warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer; SolCare prepares, files, and manages claims.
